To do this, Umile Consulting has developed a network with a highly experienced team of consultants in the same industry. Founder of Umile Consulting
Umile Gwakuba
Dip.Ed, BEd, MEd, MBA
Umile Gwakuba is the core founder of Umile Consulting business. Umile has a wealth of organisational, educational and community work experience gained in both African (Botswana) and Australian environments. He has taught in secondary schools for some years, has been Overcomers Youth Director, President of ECU International Students Council. In 2005 Umile was elected ECU Student Guild President, and hence became the first international student of African descent to be elected Student Guild President in Australia. He was again elected to the same position in 2006 as he continued to oversee a student population of more 20 000 in four campuses. Before starting the Umile Consulting business, Umile had just finished contract with Edith Cowan University, where he worked as Student Engagement Officer, in this position, he was appointed by the Vice Chancellor to provide University executive with an independent and comprehensive student perspective on planned and current services with particular focus on key teaching, learning, student support services and student life issues.
