Teaching & Teacher Employment

Teaching Services

The emergency of African communities leaves teachers, administrators and policy-makers encounter difficulties in identifying what specific adjustment they need to put in place in order to accommodate these students in the mainstream. Most of these students are likely to face tensions and dilemmas when interacting with the local counterparts and the teachers too are faced with challenges of teaching in a contemporary multicultural environment. Umile Consulting provides that conduit between the African curriculums and the Australian curriculum in terms of content, methods of delivery, classroom set up and the role of parents on children's education.

Our services include:
  • Identification of struggling international and migrant students due to a myriad of factors in schools, especially students from Africa. We provide a range of effective coping strategies that helps both teachers and students in the learning environment
  • Multicultural Training for Staff
  • Student Learning and Organisational Support for schools with multicultural students
  • Understanding African Culture and Family role in student learning, African-Australian Curriculum and Integration of migrants students into mainstream learning
